Available locally only, this British-Style Porter is brew No. 5 in FBC’s locally exclusive Discovery Series. Seven specialty malts went into the making of this limited-edition brew, including Brown Malt and Chocolate Wheat. An addition of Fuggles hops and Timothy Taylor Yeast are added to the mix, capping off this deliciously dark Porter. Sitting at 4% ABV and boasting a deep ruby colour and balanced bitterness, it’s traditional and ever-so drinkable, with little residual sweetness. Classic and dry, expect biscuit, nut, and chocolate malt character from his delectable brew. A winter classic, the can showcases one-line art created by artist Megan Henderson @megskizzy. Inspired by morning missions in the backcountry, her fluid lines depict Mt.Hosmer under a bright moon, captured alongside a rider making their way up the mountain, in search of fresh lines and a well-earned après.
